Project MBS Church Building2021

Our next step of faith is a building for the Sapiranga Church Plant. As we seek to set our roots deep into Sapiranga, and make a lasting impact for the glory of Christ, it's important to establish a fixed presence in our target area.
Thanks to the prayers and generosity of so many of you, in July of 2020 we were able to buy a property in our target neighborhood! The church is now officially registered with the state and we have submitted the church building project to be approved by the city. With the cost of construction increasing exponentially, we decided to reconsider what Phase 1 and Phase 2 would be for the church building. Instead of having a larger, unfinished building; we decided to keep our fundraising goal around $50,000 and finish just part of the building. After a few meetings together with the architect and builder, we came up with the plan pictured above. As Christ grows His church, we can add on (reception, staircase, and full kitchen on left front; classrooms and pastor office on 2nd floor; remove temporary classroom walls in sanctuary to then have the full 120 seat sanctuary), not losing or demolishing anything already built. Lord willing, construction will start this July 2021 and finish in January 2022!
We praise the Lord for those who have given so generously and prayed so faithfully! God has provided just over $51,000 of our original $50,000 goal! Thank you!
We know that as the building project progresses, there will be unexpected expenses, but for now we want to rejoice in the Lord's provision and get started! We will keep you posted as needs arise.
